It's up. I scheduled this video to be released at 3AM, because who does that?

Twisted Metal. Now that's a franchise I got in my head for quite a while... Specifically, the cancelled Black sequel known as Twisted Metal: Harbor City. I haven't done a Twisted Metal-related video, 4 years ago and that was a fan-made DidYouKnowGaming video. This one I'm busting my ass off for the past month, and two months on the main script, which I had to cut it down because of being too lengthy. Recently, I finished the last segment of the video, and preparing to finish this bitch... But I manage to build up the courage and ask a certain Dave about Harbor City.

This'll be up by the very first thing on Christmas, peoples. My Youtube's "Mace 2.0," so don't forget.

This is a screencap about a Twisted Metal would've been in an alternate universe...

So I decided to replace the previous icon with something a little more streamlined. The previous Icon I did like it on it's own merits. The "M2" icon represent the imperfections on pretty much anything you throw at it, and it's design is meant to be fit on a cirular icon, which is pretty much every website is doing at the time when Squares are taboo subjects. Now the problem for that logo in particular is that it's not that recognizable on a very small scale (usually 24x24px scale), representing red paint droplets on silver paint. It's also had a transparent background, but using that doesn't look that great (or in some cases not-so-visible) on different colors (I mean, that logo's palette had reds, silvers, greys, and slate) with the exception of Black.

So I went to the drawing board (AKA: my sketchbook) to draw some M2's. Now my main intentions for this one is 3 things:

  1. Logo fits snuggly inside of a circular icon
  2. Streamlined look (none of that wacky shit)
  3. Recognizable from a smaller scale (24x24px)

Now I've made many possible candidates (22 exactly, plus 9 signatures), and one point, I drop the "M" in place of two 2's merged together. Now the one I currently locked down isn't final, per se... But it DOES fit my requirements. I also included several variants, which is slanted & straight, plus I'm basing the main color of scarlet (usually as the background). Eventually, this one is going to be a mainstay for sure. Previous logos I have a tendency to change every so often since I'm not always satisfied with them. The icons are 1024x1024 each and done by using Inkscape.

Deltarune is a good game. Although less than 3 hours long of a teaser demo in my entire playthrough, I like to add some "fun" into the story.

For 4 months, I've been working on a little list about my favourite PS2 hidden gems. In that time period, I did a lot of things, but as of this list, it's genuine... As in I did played ALL of these on the main list, many of which I didn't own in my 21-year-old hands.

Possibility: Compile the entire list into "The Feature Length" version. I said that, because it's about 2 HOURS long.

The list: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhZuiZqGdck&list=PLNZeu0_9x4Q4HnBU1dBRss_Z6t-C_vYXG

Cryptic title aside, I'm officially legal to drink, legal to gamble... In the US. I've already done that shit in Canada. So what am I going to do, today? First off, finishing off #3 off of my FAV PS2 Hidden Gems list I've started about 4 MONTHS AGO, head outta town, going to pawn shops, hobby shops, and pretty much it. It was going to be a big day for me.3347235_153425702593_DkV1KO3VAAA-YSq.jpg

The Action has begun, folks! This time, I'm talking about games I've played during my youth. I've played the rare, the obscure, and the ones that's obvious, I wouldn't consider adding one on the list... But the list here had barely started, because I've split the list into 20 parts (21 if I include honourable mentions).

Vid's up, boys.

Tomorrow is the New Years double-bill.... and Sunday. I'm planning to make a video which I haven't done since three years ago. That was a video where I drew a fiery chainsaw. Although, my skills have improved, I'm plannimg to make a speed art video, taken in three dimensions. A simple low-poly female, and all I need is permission from some dude in Honduras just to model his OC... Whom he made porn. No, I'm not modelling her giving someone a rimjob, but it's basically a SFW thing. My other places had their icons changed to a new look, which I like to call, "M2." The M2 logo represents imperfections, because the shattered pieces won't fit together. Odd, yes, but it's big & pretty recognizable than the previous "Zany Eye" logo, where some pointed out it looks like a bird or something.

Problem is that I suddenly can't change my profile pic on here for some reason. I'll ask Tom if he knows about this.

Recently, I've finished Star Storm 2, the series of episodic reviews on a show called Star Vs. The Forces of Evil season 3. Although, there's some problems during the entire series, most of which is sound design, I'm fine on where it turns out. So let me give you some context on why the sound design is problematic.

First off, I have to make the video quite quickly with Audacity. There was this humming noise that's coming from the USB , but that's quite normal for a cheap $35 mic from Amazon. Second, I can't deal with the background noise besides the humming. And third, my sister & her kids had to stay in my place for a while, because they HAVE to move. Two days before the reviews have started, they were absoulutely traumatised due to my sister's husband getting SHOT in the hand early in the morning, due to some drug-trafficing dick living next door in their apartment shot a gun (he was later arrested). Scary shit, I know.

So what's next... Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie. I've heard about this fabled lost movie a long time ago, and it was supposed to be the actual Hey Arnold movie, other than what we got back in the mid-2000s. The movie is going to be released next week, and I need to watch several HA episodes (importantly, Parent's Day and The Journal) to get on track of things. But with my occasional babysitting with my sister's children (because I'm the only guy in this household unemployed), it may be a bit tough. Then after that (wether or not I liked the lost movie), I'll probably watch some more HA episodes.
